HOW TO: Care for your Linen

With the days getting longer, warmer and brighter, it’s time to think about updating your wardrobe and nothing quite says summer like linen. Linen is one of those fabrics that has always stood the test of time and will continue to do so for seasons to come. It’s classic, timeless and versatile and has a place in everyone’s wardrobe. Read through to get to know our linen and why it is a staple in everyone's wardrobe.

Timeless, versatile and breathable, linen is an entirely natural fabric made from the stalk of the flax plant. The long fibres from the plant’s stem are spun into yarn and then woven into linen. From seed-planting, it is ready for harvesting in about a hundred days. From there, it is then spun and woven to become the beautiful linen fabric we all know and love.

Linen is often known as one of the most sustainable fabrics in fashion as the entire flax plant can be woven into a fibre, meaning that there is very little waste left over from the spinning and weaving process. Our linen is organically processed without chemicals or intensive dyes, so it also means that no water pollution is made.
