We sat down with our Founder and Director Bailey Mark, to discuss all things Marlow.

Bailey has worked in the fashion industry for over ten years both in New Zealand and London.  She has had the opportunity to work with some iconic International and domestic fashion brands on some of the best digital platforms in the world.  Bailey's experience covers; Product Development, Buying and Sourcing, Marketing and Digital Ecommerce, all providing a foundation from which Marlow has emerged.

How did idea of Marlow develop?

"Marlow is an idea that came to life when I first arrived back from London, one night when I couldn't sleep, I wrote a business plan at 3am whilst scrolling pinterest for ideas. With the Covid 19 global pandemic this year, the desire to launch Marlow was accelerated due to my passion for health, well-being and conscious active living. We designed the first range for Marlow in lock down and fast forward 6 months, here we are."

What gave you the confidence to start your own brand?

"In fashion you have to be determined, resilient and creative, which I feel that I naturally am. Having formed great networks in the industry, every which way I turn, I am surrounded by extremely talented people that I trust and value their view and expertise. There is so much support and great energy around me which is exciting."

"My Mother Trish Mark has been a huge inspiration behind the brand. She has over 40 years experience in Director roles, Design, Production and Buying for leading sportswear and online retailers. "I have never come across anyone in the industry with more product and technical knowledge than her! She is a huge asset to the business and we are lucky to have her support"
